Mid-Career

Mid-career GPs are a broad group and there is no universally agreed definition of the term. The Phoenix Programme considers mid-career GPs to include colleagues who are greater than two years post qualification through to those anticipating continuing in clinical practice for at least the next five years.

We have created mid-career PCN fellowship posts for colleagues wishing to undertake funded project work within their PCN. The fellowships start annually in January and run for 12 months. We are currently supporting our third cohort of 21 fellows with a further cohort planned pending funding discussions for early 2025.
